The JL Audio 500/1v2-RB is a monoblock subwoofer amplifier engineered to deliver powerful and musical performance for your vehicle's sound system. It utilizes a high-damping Class D circuit with patented discrete control circuitry (U.S. Patent #6,441,685) to ensure efficiency and precise audio reproduction. This amplifier boasts a fully-variable crossover, adjustable from 40-200 Hz with selectable slopes (12 or 24 dB/octave), and an infrasonic filter (15-60 Hz, 24 dB/octave) for fine-tuning your subwoofer's response. It also includes a 2-channel preamp output with an independent active filter, offering flexibility in signal routing. The single-band parametric Bass EQ provides up to +15dB of boost and supports the Remote Bass Option for on-the-fly adjustments. Installation is made easier with the signal-sensing turn-on feature, which allows the amplifier to power up without a remote wire. The amplifier is equipped with dual mono speaker output connections capable of accepting up to 8 AWG wire, and its +12V and ground connections can accommodate up to 4 AWG wire. The differential-balanced input topology ensures excellent noise rejection, with a switchable input range from 200mV-2V RMS to 800mV-8V RMS. With a damping factor greater than 500 @ 4 ohm, the 500/1v2-RB maintains tight control over the subwoofer cone for accurate bass reproduction. Its dimensions are 13.40 in. x 9.25 in. x 2.36 in. JL Audio warrants this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase, with an extended two-year warranty available if installation is performed or approved by an authorized JL Audio dealer.
