The CPP 500 Series Power Steering Conversion Kit provides a modern, tight steering feel for your 1967-1972 C10. This kit is designed as a direct bolt-in to the factory location, requiring no modifications for installation. It features a new sport ratio gearbox with a 14:1 ratio and 3.5 turns lock-to-lock for enhanced maneuverability. This comprehensive kit includes essential components such as the CPP 500 Series gearbox, a pitman arm, a rag joint coupler, power steering hoses, and a black finished power steering pump with a clear finished small block Chevy-compatible bracket. Please note that the power steering pulley is sold separately and its selection depends on your specific engine configuration (long/short water pump, crank pulley). A customer inquired about fitment for a 1967 C10 without original power steering. CPP confirmed that this kit is a direct bolt-in for 1967-1972 C10 trucks, while noting that 1960-1966 trucks would require welding a bracket to the frame.
