5000 Series Brake Rotor

The DBA 5000 Series brake rotor ring is engineered by Disc Brakes Australia, a performance aftermarket brake manufacturer. They undergo Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to ensure the metallurgy can withstand the increased stress and heat generated during intense braking applications. This performance series rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system. This unique design utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars, which DBA states achieves up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional straight vane designs. The rotor has an outside diameter of 355 mm, a nominal thickness of 32 mm, and is a vented, smooth surface type. This specific rotor (DBA52448.1) is designed for the front or rear of select Dodge Viper models, including 2003-2006, 2008, and 2010 model years, as well as the 2014 SRT Viper. Fitment notes indicate that for the 2014 SRT Viper, it is not compatible with the TA Package and is a 1-piece disc. For the 2003-2006, 2008, and 2010 Dodge Viper models, it is also a 1-piece disc.
