Description

The DBA 5000 Series T3 Slotted Rotor is a premium, 2-piece direct replacement brake rotor engineered for high-performance street, track, rally, and show vehicles. It builds upon the benefits of the 4000 Series with the addition of an aerospace-grade aluminum hat, offering further weight reduction and improved heat management. The high-carbon cast iron rings are combined with T6061-T6 aluminum hats, secured by National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. Featuring DBAs patented T3 bi-directional slot design, this rotor offers enhanced braking performance. The tri-symmetrical slots increase the expulsion of brake pad friction dust and gases, leading to a quieter, more responsive, and smoother pedal feel. The T3 slot design is specifically recommended by DBA for high-performance applications due to its improved consistency and effectiveness in every brake stop. The rotors also incorporate Thermographic Heat Paint (TGHP) to help monitor braking temperatures and rotor fatigue.
