The DBA 5000 Series T3 Slot Brake Rotor Ring is a direct replacement brake rotor engineered by Disc Brakes Australia for drivers seeking enhanced braking performance beyond standard OE levels. This performance series rotor is cast from high carbon alloyed iron and subjected to Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP). This process allows the metallurgy to withstand the increased stress and heat generated during intense braking applications, ensuring consistent performance over time. Featuring DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, this rotor incorporates 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars. This design contributes to up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency when compared to traditional straight vane designs. The rotor has an outside diameter of 350mm, a nominal thickness of 32mm, and a discard thickness of 30mm, with a center hole diameter of 170mm and 12 lug holes. This specific rotor, part number DBA52224.1S, is designed for the front application of select Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution models.
