Overview

The Bosch 0 280 158 117 is a set of eight genuine Bosch EV14 high-resistance, saturated fuel injectors. These injectors deliver 550 CC/min at 43.5 PSI and are designed for high-performance gasoline applications. They feature a split cone spray pattern and EV6/EV14 electrical connectors.

These injectors are high-impedance, making them compatible with most ECUs. This results in better idle quality and lower BSFC compared to injectors with a pencil stream pattern. Many tuners use these injectors at 6 bar and higher fuel pressures.

The Bosch 0 280 158 117 is a genuine Bosch high-performance EV14 fuel injector, often referred to as the "50lb" or "520cc" injector. It features a Standard (S) body geometry with a length of 48.65mm and a high-impedance design. This injector boasts a precise Type E (Dual Cone) spray pattern with a 15° split angle and a 12° bent angle, ideal for targeting in multi-valve cylinder heads. It utilizes a modern USCAR/EV6 electrical connector. The injector is equipped with Viton O-rings (Blue Upper, Green Lower) and stainless steel internals, ensuring compatibility with E85, Methanol, and Gasoline. Flow capacity is rated at 50 lb/hr / 520 cc/min (374 g/min) at 300 kPa (43.5 PSI). Bosch calibrates these injectors using N-Heptane, with an industry standard rating of ~547 cc/min, and provides a real-world gasoline estimate of ~520 cc/min. The coil resistance is 12.0 Ohms (High-Z). It is important to note that injectors sold individually are not flow-matched by Racetronix. Absolutely no returns are accepted on open-box fuel injectors; customers are advised to verify their application before purchase.
