50mm Optical Trigger Wheel with 24-2 Crank Trigger Pattern

The AMP EFI 50mm Optical Trigger Wheel is engineered to upgrade your Nissan's crank angle sensor (CAS) system for improved compatibility with MegaSquirt engine management. This component replaces the factory low-resolution, four-slit trigger wheel with a higher-resolution 24-2 pattern, offering enhanced ignition timing precision, particularly beneficial for distributor-equipped engines and enabling coil-on-plug setups to utilize MegaSquirt without additional crank triggers. This trigger wheel is intended for use with Nissan GA16DE, KA24E, KA24DE, SR20DE, and SR20DET engines. However, it is important to note that some KA24E and FWD SR20 applications may use a 54mm trigger wheel, and RWD SR20 variants are believed to be 50mm; confirmation of outer diameter is recommended before purchase. It may also fit other Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki CAS applications with a 50mm outer diameter and a center D-shaped hole. This trigger wheel does not fit most RB, VG, or CA motors. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process. Simply remove the CAS or distributor cover, remove the distributor rotor if applicable, and unscrew the central Philips screw. The new trigger wheel then installs directly in place.
