Description

The 3M Disc Pad Hub is a 4.5-inch accessory designed to hold a disc pad face plate and fiber disc in place on a sander or grinder. It features an internal threaded metal insert that threads onto the shaft of the tool. This hub supports fiber discs with a 7/8 inch center hole, which are secured with a compatible retainer nut.

The disc pad hub allows for the selection of face plates with four different densities (soft, medium, hard, and extra-hard). This offers versatility for multiple grinding applications using a single power tool. The rigid hub provides firm support for the fiber disc face plate.
