5100-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing

The Tilton 5100-Series hydraulic release bearing, also known as a hydraulic throwout bearing, features a flat-face contact bearing that is optimal for direct mounting inside the bellhousing. This bearing is ideal for 8.5" to 11.0" bent finger clutches. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, Tilton HRBs are designed, machined, and assembled with rigorous quality control at Tilton’s headquarters. They utilize proprietary low-friction surface treatments, a durable coating specifically created for HRBs, to enhance long-wearing durability and high performance. The unique monoseal technology, a multi-edged quad-tension seal, ensures consistent pedal feel, long-term wearability, and lasting reliability, having been tested to hundreds of thousands of actuations without failure. A resilient orange wiper-seal protects the HRB bore from damage. Its self-adjusting capability means it automatically compensates for clutch wear, maintaining the same pedal feel throughout the clutch’s lifespan. Installation notes specify the use of only DOT-3 or DOT-4 brake fluid.
