Description

The Vortex 520 Conversion Kit is engineered for the Yamaha YZF-R6 and YZF-R6s models from 2003 to 2009, offering an upgrade to the drivetrain's performance. This kit is custom-built to your specifications, taking the guesswork out of replacing your motorcycle's sprockets and chain. Complementing the front sprocket is a Vortex black hard anodized aluminum rear sprocket. For the chain, you can select from premium X'ring options by DID, RK, or EK, all provided with a matching rivet-type master link. This combination typically results in a weight savings of 1.0 to 2.0 pounds compared to the stock setup. Installation of this kit requires a chain tool for proper fitting of the master link. The front sprocket is made from durable chromoly steel, while the rear sprocket utilizes hard anodized aluminum for a balance of strength and weight reduction.
