The EK Chains 525 ZVX-3 chain kit is engineered for high-performance motorcycles, specifically Ducati Panigale V4/V4S and Streetfighter V4S models from 2018 onwards. This kit utilizes advanced NX-ring sealing technology, which enhances durability by an estimated 15% over previous generations and reduces friction for smoother operation and optimal power transmission. Revolutionary Zero-Stretch technology is a key feature, ensuring the drive chain experiences minimal stretching during the break-in period. This significantly reduces the need for initial re-tensioning, making the chain ideal for both street use and racing applications where consistent performance is crucial. The perforated inner plates contribute to weight reduction while also improving heat dissipation and facilitating faster removal of dirt and debris from the chain links. This design contributes to less wear on both the front and rear sprockets. This chain kit is particularly recommended for high-performance motorcycles with engines 600cc and above. It includes a rivet link, with the option to use a screw-type link (ordered separately, no special tools required for assembly). The kit's gearing is specified as 16x41, with a chain length of 114 links. To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, it is noted that the use of a JT-Sprocket rear sprocket adapter (part number 23-170-770B) may be necessary and must be ordered separately.
