The EK Chain 530 Z3D Series Chain represents a significant advancement in motorcycle chain design, combining striking aesthetics with exceptional performance. Each outer plate boasts a distinctive 3D curved shape, enhancing both visual appeal and operational efficiency. Forged for high stiffness, these plates ensure maximum power is transferred to the rear wheel. The chain incorporates several design elements for improved performance and reduced maintenance. The outer plate features dimpling for increased strength, while the inner plate is designed with cutouts at the center and edges. These cutouts not only reduce the chain's overall weight but also minimize the surface area requiring cleaning. Furthermore, the combination of edge cutouts and chromium carbide roller pins allows for smoother engagement and significantly less friction compared to traditional chain designs. Key features of the EK Z3D Series Chain include its QX2-ring technology, offering 30% better wear resistance than previous QX-ring designs. It is compatible with street and touring motorcycles, with a recommended maximum displacement of 1,400cc for street use. The chain has a tensile strength of 11,200 lbs and a weight of 4.8 lbs per 100 links. It includes a rivet-type master link for secure attachment.
