550 2.5L Subaru Short Block

The IAG Performance 550 2.5L Subaru Short Block is a crucial upgrade for modified EJ25 Subarus, specifically built to withstand the increased cylinder pressures associated with higher boost levels. Standard OEM components, including those in the STI RA, are not sufficient for the demands of larger turbochargers or increased boost, often leading to engine failure. Key components include IAG Spec JE 99.75mm forged pistons made from 2618 T6 alloy, featuring an asymmetrical skirt design for reduced weight and superior flame travel. These pistons are paired with IAG Spec H-Beam connecting rods and ARP2000 rod bolts, complemented by ACL or King race rod bearings for robust support. The short block utilizes a brand-new Subaru OEM EJ25 2.5L case, bored and honed to 99.75mm, and is assembled with a new 2017+ Subaru STI crankshaft and ACL or King race main bearings. This short block is professionally assembled by IAG's certified Subaru specialists, who have extensive experience building Subaru engines. Each unit is meticulously crafted and thoroughly inspected to ensure the highest quality standards. The IAG 550 Short Block is designed to support up to 550 BHP and is compatible with various Subaru WRX, STI, Legacy GT, and Forester XT models from 2002 to 2021.
