The GRP Pro 5500 Series Custom Aluminum Connecting Rods are designed for high-performance applications. These rods are CNC machined from a special 7075 aluminum alloy plate, offering high strength, fracture toughness, and fatigue resistance. They are honed to a precise +/- .0002 tolerance for accuracy.

The GRP Pro 5500 Series Custom Aluminum Connecting Rods are precision-engineered components for high-performance engine builds. These rods are CNC machined from a special 7075 aluminum alloy plate, chosen for its combination of high strength, high fracture toughness, and excellent resistance to fatigue crack propagation under high stress levels. GRP's manufacturing process allows for custom rod lengths to be built around the actual center-to-center distance. The rods are honed to size with a strict +/- .0002 tolerance, and the center-to-center distance is cut to within +/- .0002 tolerance. The Pro series utilizes a stronger aluminum alloy than standard series rods. These connecting rods come standard with ARP 2000 Rod Bolts, rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength. After machining and honing, the rods undergo a high-energy polishing process to remove stress risers and provide a durable, polished finish. The average turn-around time for a set of these custom-built rods is approximately two weeks.
