This Flaming River FR308KT manual rack and pinion cradle kit is designed for 1955-1957 Chevrolet Tri-Five vehicles, replacing the original long shaft steering box. It includes a paintable floor shift tilt column, mounting hardware, wiring connector, universal joints, and a patented rack & pinion cradle system. This system reinforces the chassis, increases ground clearance, and bolts into original chassis locations without requiring suspension modifications. Hoses are sold separately. Installation is simple with hand tools, and the system maintains full turning radius.
