This Flaming River power rack and pinion cradle system replaces the original long shaft steering box in 1955-57 Chevy vehicles. It reinforces the chassis and increases ground clearance. The fixture-welded cradle bolts into the original chassis location, requiring no suspension modification and installing easily with hand tools. The kit includes: a patented rack & pinion cradle system, power steering pump with billet bracket and pulley, aluminum mounting reservoir, universal joints, mounting hardware, wiring connector, and a swivel floor mount. A paintable or polished tilt steering column with column shift is also included. Hoses are sold separately.
