The K&N 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake System is designed to dramatically improve engine performance by replacing the factory air filter and entire air path. Its aerodynamically engineered tube accelerates airflow into the engine, translating to increased power. The system features a large, conical high-flow air filter for greater airflow and longer service life.

The K&N 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake System is engineered to provide a significant upgrade over standard OE replacement filters. It addresses the common restriction found between the air filter and the engine by replacing the entire factory air path with a custom-designed, non-metallic, rotationally molded tube. This design helps to reduce air temperature and intake sound compared to metal tubes. This oversized filter offers increased airflow at lower restriction than standard filters and has a service life of up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. When possible, a heat shield is included to isolate the filter from high engine temperatures, further increasing horsepower. The rotationally molded tube, constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), is precisely shaped to minimize turbulence and accelerate airflow into the engine. The tube connects to the engine using high-strength adapters made from materials like silicone and reinforced nylon, ensuring durability.
