57 Series FIPK Performance Air Intake System

The K&N 57 Series FIPK performance air intake system is engineered to boost engine performance by increasing airflow. Its custom rotationally-molded tube, made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), enhances air volume to the engine, leading to guaranteed increases in horsepower and torque. This system is paired with an oversized, conical, washable, and reusable High-Flow Air Filter™ that utilizes oiled cotton filter media. The oversized filter design allows for extended service intervals, requiring cleaning only every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to protect the intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay. The entire system is designed for a straightforward installation, typically completable in under 60 minutes using simple hand tools. This intake system directly replaces the factory air filter and intake tube. Specifications for this Gen II system include an estimated horsepower gain of 14.26 HP at 5018 RPM and a torque gain of 14.9 lb-ft. The air filter is red and made of cotton gauze, with a round outlet shape. The intake pipe is black and constructed from high-density cross-linked polyethylene.
