The K&N 57 Series Generation II air intake system is designed to increase power and torque by reducing intake restriction. This performance air intake replaces the factory air filter and housing with a custom air intake tube and an oversized, conical K&N air filter. The washable and reusable cotton gauze filter can go up to 100,000 miles between services.

The K&N 57 Series Generation II air intake, also known as an FIPK, is K&N's ultimate performance product designed to fit 1994-2001 Dodge RAM 1500 models with the 5.9L engine (including both 12V and 24V Cummins variants). This system replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, allowing for a virtually unrestricted airflow. This performance intake system is designed to increase horsepower by as much as 10%, with specific gains of up to 11.81 HP at 4850 RPM reported. The kit features a roto-molded High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube paired with an oversized, oiled cotton gauze air filter that is washable and reusable. The oversized, conical filter design allows for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The system includes a custom heat shield to help manage under-hood temperatures. K&N guarantees increased power and torque with this air intake system. It is CARB exempt and street legal in all 50 US states. This product comes with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty, reflecting its durability and quality construction.
