Description

The K&N 57-0460 is a performance air intake system engineered for specific Volkswagen Golf IV models equipped with the 1.8L F/I engine, covering model years 1997 through 2000. This system features a large, washable, and reusable K&N high-flow air filter, which offers greater surface area than a standard OE replacement filter. This enhanced airflow capacity not only helps in delivering more power but also increases the filter's service life, allowing for intervals of up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. Installation involves either direct attachment of the filter to the engine's carburetor or throttle body or connection through a provided tube assembly. It's important to note that K&N 57i Series Intakes are not legal for use in California and other U.S. states that have adopted California emission standards.
