The K&N 57-2501 FIPK air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air box in select Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 models. By significantly reducing intake restriction, this system promotes improved airflow, allowing your engine to ingest more air. This results in enhanced power and acceleration across the entire RPM range. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed within 90 minutes using common tools. The system features a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter that integrates with the factory air intake tube. The unique shape of the filter helps to straighten airflow as it is directed into the engine's throttle body, contributing to a guaranteed power gain. The K&N 57-2501 comes with a washable and reusable lifetime air filter, designed to last up to 100,000 miles before requiring service based on driving conditions.
