The K&N 57-0680 is a 57i Series performance air intake system specifically engineered for select BMW vehicles, including the 1-Series (2007-2011), 3-Series (2007-2012), and X1 (2012). The system utilizes a large, washable, and reusable cotton gauze air filter with a red finish and a round outlet shape, designed to capture more dirt and extend its service life up to 100,000 miles before requiring cleaning. Installation is generally straightforward and typically takes 90 minutes or less.
