5R110 Built Transmission

The Rudy's 5R110 Built Transmission is engineered for demanding Powerstroke applications, offering various stages of performance from Stage 1 up to Stage 5 competition use. Each stage incorporates enhanced internal components, including custom clutch and steel sets from top brands like Raybestos, GPZ, and Exedy, as well as upgraded valve bodies and solenoids. All stages receive new Teflon-coated bushings for improved durability. Different stages cater to specific power levels and intended uses. Stage 1 is suitable for applications up to 600hp, ideal for bolt-on upgrades and towing. Stages 2, 3, and 4 progressively add billet internals like input shafts, intermediate shafts, and low/reverse hubs, supporting up to 675hp, 700hp, and 1000hp respectively, for mild to heavy towing and higher horsepower trucks. The Stage 5 competition transmission is built for extreme use on the track only, featuring maximum clutch material and all billet internals. Key features across all stages include a 2-year limited warranty (shafts excluded) and a mandatory 500-mile break-in period. A new torque converter must be installed at the time of transmission installation to maintain warranty coverage. Furthermore, all Rudy's Diesel Performance Transmissions require a custom tune designed specifically for a built transmission; Stages 4 and 5 necessitate even more advanced custom tuning due to modified solenoids and pump modifications. Cores from 2003-2004 models are no longer accepted for core charge refunds; transmissions must be from a 2005+ model.
