This Demco 8550062 21K Autoslide 5th wheel hitch is designed for short box Ram trucks equipped with the factory puck (OE) system from 2013-Present. It provides additional clearance between the truck's cab and the trailer during turning maneuvers, potentially allowing 90-degree turns, though this can be influenced by trailer width, corner shape, truck cab profile, and king pin box placement. An extended pin box on the trailer is recommended for optimal performance.
