The AudioControl PNW-57 is a pair of 5x7" coaxial car speakers engineered to deliver exceptional sound quality and performance. Built with an edge-enhanced steel frame, these speakers offer enhanced structural strength and durability. The black anodized voice coil former promotes superior heat dissipation, allowing for increased power handling and longevity. These two-way speakers utilize a rigid poly-mica coated cone and a linear double-roll rubber surround to achieve crisp, precise sound reproduction. The rear-dampened hybrid silk dome tweeter, combined with a sonic diffuser and radiant collar, provides extended and consistent off-axis frequency response, ensuring great sound from any listening position. The tweeter's concentric point source design also ensures a seamless transition and perfect alignment between the midrange and tweeter drivers. The PNW-57 speakers have a power handling of 75W RMS (up to 100W max) and a frequency response of 60-20k Hz. Key specifications include a Butterworth crossover type with a -6 dB slope at 5250 Hz, a 2.3-ohm DC resistance, a 20mm tweeter voice coil diameter, and a 35mm midrange voice coil diameter.
