The Choate 6.0L Model C Short Block Engine is designed for 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Equipped Vehicles (F250/F350 Super Duty). It's built for a budget-oriented approach, delivering performance superior to OEM while addressing common shortcomings. Key features include magnafluxed and pressure-tested heads, new valve guides, seals, and freeze plugs. The engine undergoes full CNC blueprint machining (bore, deck, hone, and align honed) for precision. Connecting rods are blueprinted to 6.929 center to center with new bushings, and new pistons (.10-.40 inch over) are weight-matched with rings and pin retainers. The crankshaft is thoroughly checked for runout and fatigue, complemented by new rod, main, and cam bearings, and a polished and inspected camshaft. Each engine is professionally assembled in-house.
