The BulletProof 6.0L Round EGR Cooler offers a significant upgrade over the stock Ford EGR cooler for specific 6.0L Power Stroke engines. Manufactured by Bullet Proof Diesel, this component is constructed with stainless steel tubing, which provides superior strength and increased resistance to fatigue and heat stress failure compared to the original equipment. Its all-welded design and thicker cooling tubes contribute to its enhanced durability and performance. This improved round-style EGR cooler is engineered to fit all 6.0L Ford Power Stroke engines manufactured BEFORE September 22, 2003. It serves as a direct replacement for the OEM part number 3C3Z-9P456-B. The BulletProof EGR cooler boasts a coolant capacity more than twice that of the standard Ford cooler, ensuring more effective temperature regulation and potentially reducing the risk of common failures associated with the OEM unit. While this product offers a robust solution to EGR cooler issues, it is important to note that gaskets and hardware are not included and must be purchased separately. Bullet Proof Diesel also strongly recommends replacing the engine oil cooler concurrently with the EGR cooler for optimal engine health and performance.
