The Infinity Reference REF-6522ix is a 6-1/2" 2-way car speaker designed to deliver exceptional clarity and strong bass. It features Infinity's Plus One+ polypropylene woofer cone with a durable hi-roll rubber surround for robust low-end performance, complemented by a 1" edge-driven textile dome tweeter that produces smooth, detailed highs without harshness. They can handle up to 60 watts of RMS power and 180 watts of peak power, making them a good match for both factory head units and external amplifiers. A unique feature is the "True Four Ohm Impedance technology," where the speaker's native 3-ohm impedance combines with your vehicle's speaker wire to present a 4-ohm load to your car stereo, potentially increasing volume output. With a frequency response ranging from 53 Hz to 21,000 Hz and a sensitivity of 93 dB, these speakers aim to reproduce a wide range of audio details.
