6-1/2" Component Speaker System

The PowerBass OE65C-GM is a vehicle-specific 6-1/2" component speaker system engineered to enhance audio performance in select GM and Chevrolet vehicles. This system is designed as a direct replacement, utilizing factory bolt locations and plug styles for a straightforward installation, often referred to as plug-and-play. It includes both woofers and tweeters, with factory-compatible wiring adapters to simplify the process. Complementing the woofer is a 1" silk dome tweeter, intended to provide clear, detailed high frequencies. An inline crossover is integrated to ensure the tweeter receives only appropriate high-frequency signals, optimizing sound reproduction. With a power handling capability of 60 watts RMS and 120 watts peak, these speakers can work effectively with a factory radio. However, for optimal performance, they can be driven by an outboard amplifier delivering up to 60 watts RMS per channel. The system has a frequency response ranging from 70 Hz to 20 kHz and an impedance of 4 ohms, with a sensitivity of 88 dB.
