The Infinity KAPPA62IX is a 6-1/2" two-way car audio speaker engineered to elevate your in-car listening experience. Complementing the woofers are edge-driven textile dome tweeters with oversized voice coils, which provide broader, smoother high-frequency response and improved thermal power handling for reliable high-volume playback. The UniPivot tweeter can be rotated after installation to optimize soundstage and imaging, and features a push-button level control for custom tuning. The KAPPA62IX boasts an SLI (Super Low Impedance) high-output design with a 2.5-ohm architecture and low impedance voice coils. This configuration allows the speakers to extract maximum power from your amplifier or head unit and compensates for any resistance in factory wiring. With an ultra-high sensitivity rating of 95dB at 2.83V, these speakers can achieve excellent volume with as little as 5 watts RMS, making them ideal for upgrading factory systems. They also undergo Harman Standard Reliability Testing, which includes extreme temperature, shake, UV light, and power endurance tests. The Kappa series offers upgradability; the 2-way component system crossovers are gap-selectable to accommodate an optional midrange speaker and bandpass crossover, allowing for a three-way system conversion for increased performance.
