The J2 Engineering HDS-FP93V6 is a performance-oriented, long tube exhaust header system designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds on 1993-1997 Ford Probe 2.5L V6 and 1993-1997 Mazda MX-6 2.5L V6 vehicles. Crafted from durable T304 stainless steel, this header utilizes mandrel bends for smooth exhaust flow and features TIG welded CNC machine flanges for a precise fit. The design aims to improve power, performance, and exhaust sound by allowing the engine to breathe more freely. It includes integrated O2 sensor insertion ports and comes with a metal gasket. Installation hardware is typically included in the package. This product is explicitly intended for closed course competition use only on 1975 model year or newer vehicles. It is not legal for street use and its installation or use may be illegal nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act, as well as restricted by CARB and EPA regulations in California and cooperating states. Buyers should confirm local laws and regulations regarding compliance for emissions-related performance parts.
