The RaceTec Pistons 1001570 is a professional-grade forged piston set designed specifically for Mopar Gen 3 Hemi 6.2L engines, including Hellcat and Demon applications. Engineered from 2618 alloy, these pistons provide the structural integrity required for extreme performance, including high-horsepower builds, forced induction, or nitrous systems. Each piston features a flat-top design with two valve reliefs, optimized for a 4.090-inch bore and 3.580-inch stroke with a 1.295-inch compression height. They utilize a 1.2mm top ring, 1.2mm second ring, and 3.0mm oil ring configuration. The set is compatible with 6.2-inch rod lengths. RaceTec recommends maintaining a minimum clearance of .100 inches between the valve and the piston for safe operation in performance applications. As these are high-performance forged components, professional installation and proper cylinder wall clearance measurement are critical to engine longevity.
