The Integrated Engineering ProCore Downpipe is engineered to enhance the exhaust note and flow for your Audi B9 S4 or S5. This high-performance component features an in-house designed 6-inch, 400CPSI catalytic converter with a tri-core structure and precious metal coatings, intended to support upgraded engine tunes and larger turbochargers while preventing check engine lights. Crafted from durable T304L stainless steel, the downpipe boasts TIG-welded joints and an investment cast body for smooth exhaust flow transitions. Its design supports hybrid and larger turbochargers, aiming to unleash the full potential of your engine hardware and tuning investments. Dyno testing on a hybrid turbo-equipped B9 S4 demonstrated significant power gains of 45HP and 41 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels. The downpipe's increased size and smooth transitions help evacuate exhaust gases efficiently, improving turbocharger speed and efficiency. Additionally, the thick-wall investment cast body helps reduce radiant heat in the engine bay, benefiting charge air cooler temperatures. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with an estimated time of 2-3 hours, and allows for the factory heatshield and engine cover to be reinstalled for a stealthy appearance. This downpipe is compatible with the Audi S4 and S5 models from 2017-2024, specifically those equipped with the 3.0T turbocharged engine (B9/B9.5 chassis).
