The JLT Performance CAI-SRTJ-12 is a cold air intake kit designed for the 2012-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with a 6.4L engine. This kit features a roto-molded plastic heat shield that seals to the hood and has an opening to draw fresh air from the grille/headlight area. It includes a custom S&B air filter with a bell mouth for smooth airflow and large pleats for increased surface area.

The intake tube is also roto-molded plastic, offering superior airflow and preventing heat soak common with metal tubes. The 4-inch throttle body opening is designed to accommodate future larger throttle bodies. The kit includes the intake tube, silicone reducer, air filter, heat shield, and all necessary hardware.

The JLT Performance CAI-SRTJ-12 cold air intake kit is specifically engineered for 2012-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT models equipped with the 6.4L HEMI engine. It is also CARB EO D-761-5 compliant, making it 50-state street legal. Constructed with a roto-molded plastic heat shield, this intake system effectively blocks engine heat at idle and low speeds. The shield features a front opening to capture fresh air from the grille and headlight area and seals against the hood to ensure optimal performance. The custom-built S&B powerstack air filter is designed with a built-in bell mouth for smooth, fast airflow and has deep pleats that offer greater surface area compared to larger-looking filters. The intake tube is made from roto-molded plastic to resist heat soak, unlike metal tubes. It has a 5-inch filter opening for superior airflow and a 4-inch opening at the throttle body end, ready for potential future upgrades. The standard finish is a professional, OEM-looking black textured plastic. This kit includes the JLT Roto Molded Plastic Intake Tube, Silicone Reducer, 5x7 S&B powerstack Air Filter (Red Oil), JLT Roto Molded Heat Shield with fresh air feed, and HD clamps along with all other required hardware. Performance testing indicates typical gains of 18-22 RWHP and 18-22 RWTQ. Installation is straightforward as no tuning is required. This USA-made kit weighs 10 lbs and has dimensions of 24 x 14 x 14 inches.
