The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake System is precision-engineered to unlock the full potential of the 6.4L SRT engine in select Jeep Grand Cherokee models. Its innovative design reduces intake restriction and improves airflow, resulting in noticeable gains in power, throttle response, and a more aggressive engine tone. The intake tube is constructed from durable, heat-resistant rotomolded plastic and features a massive 5-inch opening to ensure optimal airflow while preventing heat soak, a common issue with metal intake tubes. This system includes a custom S&B Powerstack cotton cleanable air filter with deep pleats and a smooth bellmouth for maximum surface area and airflow efficiency. An ABS plastic heat shield encloses the filter, keeping intake temperatures low by drawing in cooler, denser air from the front grille area. The intake seals to the hood and utilizes fresh air from the grille, contributing to its performance benefits. With an OEM-like textured black finish, it maintains a clean, integrated look in the engine bay. Installation is straightforward, as no tuning is required for this performance enhancement. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake is designed for the 2015-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4L SRT and the 2012-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4L SRT8.
