The speaker incorporates JBL's patented Plus One woofer-cone technology, utilizing carbon-injected cones that offer a larger surface area for improved air radiation and better low-frequency response due to their lighter and stiffer construction. Constructed with a durable carbon-composite non-magnetic frame, the GTO629 is built to withstand demanding conditions. Its true 4-ohm technology allows for compensation of resistance from factory wiring, yielding more output than comparable factory speakers.
