The Rockford Fosgate T1650 is a 2-way coaxial speaker system engineered to deliver premium sound quality in a wide variety of vehicles. This system features a true 6.5-inch midrange driver paired with a 1-inch treated fabric dome tweeter, optimized for a broad range of U.S., European, and imported vehicles. The T1650 is designed as a drop-in upgrade, providing enhanced audio performance beyond standard OEM replacement speakers. The injection-molded, carbon fiber-filled polypropylene cone ensures rigid yet lightweight performance, while the fatigue-resistant poly-cotton spider and high-temperature aluminum voice coil contribute to its robust build. The integrated concealed 12dB/octave Butterworth crossover components are designed for clarity, with user-selectable tweeter level and on/off-axis switching capabilities. Installation is made easier with the FlexFit 2 mounting system, which features a slot-mounted frame pattern for adjustable mounting positions, particularly beneficial for Euro-Fit installations. This speaker system handles 75 watts RMS and a maximum of 150 watts, with a nominal impedance of 4-Ohms and a sensitivity of 88dB.
