6.5-Inch 2-Way Component Speaker System

The Rockford Fosgate P165-SI is a Punch Series 6.5" 2-way component speaker system engineered to deliver superior sound quality over factory-installed audio. It utilizes an injection-molded, mineral-filled polypropylene cone for impressive accuracy and Rockford Fosgate's VAST surround technique to increase the effective radiating cone area, thereby enhancing bass response. Complementing the woofer, a 1" treated PEI dome tweeter provides clear, extended high frequencies for a rich, full-range listening experience. Installation is streamlined thanks to the Integrated Concealed Crossover (ICC), which is built directly into the speaker basket. This eliminates the need to find space for separate crossover modules behind door panels, while still ensuring that low, mid, and high frequencies are directed to the appropriate drivers. The system also features a Flex Fit 2 basket design, incorporating slot-mounted frame patterns that allow for variable adjustments to the mounting position. This design is particularly beneficial for European vehicles like VW, Citroen, and Vauxhall, ensuring easier fitment with factory speaker openings. The P165-SI system is rated for 60 Watts RMS power handling and has a nominal impedance of 4-Ohms. It includes flush and surface (angled) tweeter mounting hardware, as well as grilles and general mounting hardware. The crossover network utilizes 12dB/octave components. This component system is sold in pairs, with each pair containing two woofers and two tweeters, along with all necessary installation accessories.
