The AudioControl A65CS2 Altitude Series is a 6.5-inch, 2-way component speaker system engineered to deliver exceptional clarity, control, and depth to your vehicle's audio. At its core, the system utilizes a precision-molded glass fiber cone, which produces a warm and accurate sound signature. This is complemented by a durable butyl rubber surround, ensuring responsive and well-controlled low-frequency performance. For the higher frequencies, a 1-11/16-inch silk dome tweeter provides a smooth and detailed finish, contributing to a balanced sound experience across the entire audio spectrum. It features a lightweight aluminum dust cap to enhance sensitivity and extend frequency response, along with an enhanced steel slimline basket that allows for space-saving fitment in various vehicles. Matched drivers and included passive crossovers ensure clean signal routing and optimal power delivery for improved system efficiency. With an RMS power handling of 100 watts per side (200 watts per set) and an impedance of 4 ohms, these speakers are designed to integrate seamlessly into many car audio systems. The system's frequency response ranges from 65 Hz to 20,000 Hz, offering a wide dynamic range. AudioControl is also proud to note that these speakers are designed and engineered in the USA.
