The JL Audio C3-650 Evolution Series 2-Way Convertible Component Speaker System provides a versatile and high-fidelity audio upgrade for your vehicle. These 6.5-inch speakers can be configured as a traditional component set, with woofers and tweeters mounted separately for optimal sound staging, or as coaxial speakers by integrating the tweeter into the woofer assembly, ideal for installations where space is limited. The woofers are constructed with mineral-filled polypropylene cones and feature oversized 1.2-inch voice coils for robust mid-bass and midrange reproduction. The system is complemented by 1-inch silk dome tweeters designed to deliver clear and extended high-frequency sound, both on and off-axis, ensuring a consistent listening experience throughout the cabin. The injection-molded polymer baskets and DMA-optimized woofer designs contribute to reduced resonance and enhanced audio purity. Fine-tuning your audio is made simple with the included crossover networks, which offer four levels of tweeter attenuation and three levels of mid-range presence adjustment, providing twelve distinct voicing combinations to match your preferences and vehicle acoustics. The system includes woofer grilles with a black steel mesh and an electroformed JL Audio logo for a premium look.
