The Rockford Fosgate PM2652B is a 6.5-inch, 2-way marine coaxial speaker system engineered for robust performance in demanding marine and outdoor applications. It boasts a 1-inch component-grade, coated aluminum alloy tweeter, bridge-mounted over a mineral-filled, injection-molded polypropylene midrange cone, delivering a component-like sound quality. Constructed with true marine-grade compliance, these speakers are built to withstand the elements. Key features include UV-stable Centrex plastic components, a Thermo-Plastic Elastomer (TPE) surround treated for UV radiation and salt-fog resistance, and an Aramid fiber spider for enhanced cone control. The system incorporates an integrated 12dB/octave sealed crossover with a protection circuit and corrosion-resistant gold-plated polarized input terminals. Power handling is rated at 85 Watts RMS and 170 Watts Max, with a recommended range of 40-85 watts RMS. The frequency response spans from 49Hz to 22kHz, with a sensitivity of 89dB. Included with the speakers are stainless steel mounting hardware and a grille/trim ring, ensuring a complete installation. The speakers are CEA-2031 compliant and feature integrated aluminum heat sinking for improved power handling.
