The Rockford Fosgate PPROV2-65 is a 6.5-inch 4-ohm midrange speaker engineered for high SPL (Sound Pressure Level) competition systems. It features a curvilinear pressed pulp cone with a multi-roll treated cloth surround for responsive output and a pure copper voice coil on a Kapton former for excellent power handling. These speakers are sold in pairs and include a cutout template.

The Rockford Fosgate PUNCH PRO series speakers, including the PPROV2-65, are purpose-built for maximum output in SPL (Sound Pressure Level) competition environments where loudness is paramount. Engineered with ultra-durable materials and oversized motor structures, these speakers deliver aggressive output and rugged reliability. The PPROV2-65 midrange drivers are designed for extreme SPL performance, featuring a lightweight curvilinear pressed pulp cone with a felt ring and a durable multi-roll treated cloth surround. The 1.5-inch dual-layer pure copper voice coil, mounted on a Kapton® former, enhances linearity and power handling while maintaining high thermal stability. The speaker's construction includes a glass fiber reinforced PA66 frame, corrugated poly cotton spider, and co-molded tin-plated brass terminals for robust performance and corrosion resistance. These speakers are rated at 75 Watts RMS and 150 Watts peak power handling, conforming to CTA-2031 industry standards. They utilize UV-resistant materials in the cone, surround, and frame to ensure long-term reliability, even in sun-exposed applications. The PUNCH PRO series is also designed with an engineered fit for precise alignment in automotive applications, and features a removable motor cover for fitment in tight spaces. They are sold in pairs and come with mounting hardware and a cutout template. Grilles are sold separately.
