The Pioneer TS-601M is a 4-way coaxial speaker system engineered to provide a balanced and detailed audio upgrade for automotive sound environments. The 6.5-inch woofer utilizes carbon and mica-reinforced Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) construction to maintain rigid stability during high-volume playback, while the integrated 11mm tweeter and super tweeter ensure crisp reproduction of high-frequency notes. A dedicated 1-5/8-inch cellulose fiber midrange cone rounds out the system, delivering full-bodied vocals and instrumental clarity. Reliability is centered on a heat-resistant voice coil design that manages thermal stress during extended listening sessions, complemented by a lightweight elastic polymer surround that supports efficient cone movement. Each speaker is rated for 70W RMS power handling with a 320W maximum peak, providing significant headroom for aftermarket head units or external amplifiers.
