6.5-Inch Component Speaker Set

The Alpine R2-S65C is a next-generation 6.5" component speaker set designed to elevate your car audio with crisp highs, rich mids, and deep lows for a truly loud and fun sound experience. These speakers are Hi-Res Audio Certified, capable of reproducing frequencies up to 40kHz, drawing inspiration from Alpine's Ultra-High-Resolution AlpineF#1Status systems. The R2-S65C features a lightweight and rigid glass fiber-reinforced cone material for extreme movement and low distortion, resulting in accurate and clean sound. The mid-bass drivers utilize a ferrite magnet and a larger motor structure for enhanced mid-bass output, while maintaining a design depth that allows for easy installation. Alpine's exclusive High Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) surround technology is also employed, increasing excursions while maintaining linearity for precise music reproduction. The set includes two 6.5-inch mid-bass speakers, two 1-inch magnesium hard-dome tweeters with a swivel-mount design and threaded removable housing for flexible factory applications, and two premium-grade in-line crossover networks. Mounting hardware, including screws and speed clips, as well as tweeter mounting hardware, are also provided. The system offers a power handling of 100W RMS and 300W Peak, with a frequency response of 65Hz -40kHz. This is a standard component speaker set that simplifies installation with its flexible in-line crossover network. Protective open mesh grilles are also included.
