The AudioControl PNW-65CS2 is a 6.5-inch high-fidelity component speaker system engineered to deliver exceptional sound quality and unmatched performance. Backed by over 45 years of audio engineering expertise, these speakers offer a vibrant and detailed listening experience. The PNW Series speakers are constructed with an edge-enhanced steel frame for superior structural integrity, minimizing flexing and potential distortion. The linear double-roll surround ensures precise cone movement, while the rigid poly mica-coated cone optimizes sound reproduction for clarity and depth. Included in the system is a rear-dampened hybrid silk dome tweeter with a 25mm voice coil, designed for extended frequency response. The speaker's midrange utilizes a 35mm voice coil. The system is equipped with 2nd order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers with selectable High Pass/Low Pass filters and a slope of -12 dB, with a crossover frequency set at 3.5kHz. Specifications include a power handling of 100W RMS and 125W Max, a DC resistance of 2.3 ohms, and a system frequency response of 60-20kHz. The mounting depth is 2.36 inches, and the cut-out diameter is 5.59 inches, requiring a slightly larger cutout than a standard 6.5-inch speaker.
