6.5-inch Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 6.5-inch High Clearance Lift System elevates your 2020-2024 4WD Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, offering substantial ground clearance for up to 38-inch tires. At its core are 1/4" thick laser-cut high-clearance crossmembers and a heavy-duty front skid plate, creating a robust subframe that protects vital components. BDS replaces factory steering knuckles with specially designed ductile iron units to preserve correct steering geometry. The front differential is repositioned using a multipoint relocation bracket system to minimize CV axle angles. Torsion bar relocation brackets are included to maintain factory high clearance, and BDS-branded sway bar drop brackets correct the operating angle of the stock sway bar. This kit includes extended length braided stainless steel brake lines and is available with optional FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series Remote Reservoir shocks, featuring DSC adjustable reservoirs for enhanced damping and tuning. Important installation considerations include: Frame bracket modification is required. A Torsion Bar Tool is necessary for loading/unloading torsion bars. Models with two-piece rear driveshafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit (sold separately). Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20" wheels can be used with up to a 35x12.50 tire. Minor trim may be required for some wheel/tire combinations, typically involving the inner fender shrouds or front bumper valance. Additional options that may affect fitment or require specific configurations include: The Recoil Traction Bar System is compatible ONLY with crew cab short bed (6.5ft) models and does NOT fit DRW, standard cab, extended cab, or 8ft bed models. For DRW models, the 'w/ overload' rear lift option should be selected. In some instances, frequent highway use in 4WD might cause minor front driveline vibrations, for which a dual Cardan style driveshaft replacement is recommended. Do not combine this kit with lift keys to exceed the tested 6.5" lift height. This system is compatible with both gas and diesel engines, as well as standard and AT4 models.
