The BDS Suspension BDS1434FS is a comprehensive 6.5-inch lift kit engineered for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ, featuring a long arm conversion to significantly enhance off-road performance and on-road handling. This kit maximizes capability by incorporating a redesigned 4-link long arm system, which improves articulation and control throughout the wheel travel. It also includes 4.5-inch Pro-Ride coil springs that offer a better ride quality and increased articulation, along with bump stop extensions to manage compression and increase wheel travel. Key components of this kit include a massive 1/4" steel frame-mounted belly pan with new pivot mounts, heavy-duty lower flex arms, and adjustable upper flex arms designed to optimize handling. The front also features braided stainless steel brake lines, sway bar disconnects, and an adjustable track bar with a drop pitman arm to refine steering geometry. In the rear, Glide-Ride leaf springs provide maximum travel, complemented by 2-inch lift blocks and extended shackles.
