6.5-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with FOX 2.5 Shocks

The BDS Suspension BDS1823FPE is a 6.5-inch suspension lift kit engineered for 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD trucks. This kit is designed to significantly improve the vehicle's stance, performance, and capability, offering clearance for up to 38-inch tires. Featuring a high-clearance design, the front of the suspension utilizes a "No Torsion Bar Drop System" where torsion bars mount directly to the top of the lower A-arm, eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member for increased ground clearance. This system includes 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for protection. Steering geometry is precisely corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, sway bar drops, and stainless steel brake lines. In the rear, the kit incorporates replacement lift blocks and u-bolts to achieve a 6-inch lift and level the stance, retaining factory ride quality and load capacity. Brake line and ABS line relocation brackets are included to accommodate factory brake lines. The system comes with a choice of BDS NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, with this specific kit featuring FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks. These shocks offer advanced on-road comfort and off-road capability with a remote reservoir, and Dual Speed Compression Adjusters for precise tuning. Important considerations for installation and fitment include: For DRW models, the "w/ overload" rear lift option is required. Frame bracket modification is necessary. A Torsion Bar Tool is required to safely load/unload torsion bars. Models with two-piece rear driveshafts will need a carrier bearing drop kit. Factory 17-18 inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20-inch wheels can be used with up to a 35x12.50 tire. A minor front driveline vibration may occur in some cases with frequent highway 4WD use, recommending a dual Cardan style front driveshaft replacement. Do not install with torsion bar lift keys to exceed the tested 6.5-inch lift height. Some minor trimming of inner fender shrouds and/or bumper valance may be required for certain wheel/tire combinations. This kit will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models due to differences in the lower control arm profile.
