6.5-Inch Suspension System Lift Kit

The BDS Suspension 6.5-inch lift kit is engineered to elevate the stance, performance, and capability of 2015-2020 Chevy Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 1500 4WD models, allowing for the fitment of up to 35-inch tires. This comprehensive system incorporates a high-clearance design with 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers and a heavy-duty skid plate system for superior ground clearance and off-road protection. The front suspension is further enhanced with full-length replacement strut shocks, multi-piece differential relocation brackets to secure the front axle and improve CV angles, and CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles that correct steering geometry and maintain Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system compliance. Rear components include Pro-Ride coil springs for balanced on-road and off-road performance, anti-sway bar links, a track bar relocation system, and adjustable upper control arms for proper pinion angle adjustment. Buyers can choose between two rear shock options: the NX2 Nitro Series, featuring a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving and a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, or the premium FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. These FOX shocks boast a 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum body, an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, and a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft for enhanced performance and durability. An important consideration for 2014-2018 GM trucks is the factory control arm type. Models equipped with Cast Steel control arms require a specific kit, while those with Stamped Steel or Aluminum control arms require a different configuration.
