The AudioControl EPICPRO6CX is a 6.5" Proaxial Series coaxial speaker designed for high SPL and clear sound. It features a coaxial design integrating a midrange driver with a bullet tweeter for a full-range response. The speakers utilize lightweight composite cones and dual-roll cloth surrounds for efficient and accurate sound reproduction. This set includes two EPICPRO6CX speakers, mounting hardware, and speaker grilles.

The AudioControl EPICPRO6CX Proaxial Series 6.5" Coaxial Speakers are engineered to deliver both extreme volume (SPL) and studio-quality clarity. Unlike traditional car audio speakers, these are built for efficiency and high SPL output, incorporating lightweight composite cones and dual-roll cloth surrounds. The coaxial design seamlessly combines a high-efficiency midrange driver with a compact bullet tweeter, producing a loud, full-range sound from a single point source and simplifying installation. Key features include a Proaxial design for loud, full-range response, a lightweight voice coil for high SPL output with low distortion, and a precision-designed tweeter horn with a titanium diaphragm for smooth, accurate high-frequency response. The double-roll cloth surround ensures consistent performance and accurate sound reproduction over time, while the high-tensile, stamped-steel basket provides improved damping for clean, low-distortion sound. The stiff paper cone delivers warm, smooth sound, further enhanced by a copper shorting ring that widens bandwidth and reduces distortion. Each speaker handles 200W RMS and 300W Max power, with an impedance of 4 ohms. The system frequency response ranges from 120 Hz to 20,000 Hz, and they boast a high SPL efficiency of 98.3 dB. Mounting hardware and removable speaker grilles are included. This product is sold as a set of two speakers.
